Zodiak Vostok (‘Vostok’ meaning ‘East’ in Russian) has three established production companies producing a wide range of content for Russia’s leading broadcasters. TeleAlliance produces factual entertainment formats as well as high quality dramas, Dixi is a producer of high-quality scripted content and the relatively young Mastiff Russia has already produced a wide-range of international formats. Together the companies represent a considerable force in the Russian media landscape.

Dixi Media originally focused on documentaries and factual films. In recent years, Dixi has become known as one of Russia’s leading scripted content producers, its greatest breakthrough being the police series Glukhar.

TeleAlliance is one of Russia’s leading television companies, producing both scripted fictional content and entertainment formats, including Russia’s longest-running soap series to date, and an entertainment programme with more than 1,000 episodes produced.

The youngest company in the Vostok division, Mastiff Russia was launched in 2010 with an objective to enhance Zodiak’s presence in the Russian market in the areas of entertainment, reality and comedy shows.
