TeleAlliance

TeleAlliance

TeleAlliance is one of the leading independent TV production holdings in Russia and the largest independent content producer for Russia’s largest broadcaster, Channel 1. Acquired by Zodiak in 2005, the company has established its reputation, primarily, as an efficient and leading producer of daily drama.

Every TeleAlliance production has so far demonstrated above average ratings and most programmes have run for several years, including the detective series Traces, the psychological drama To Understand and to Forgive, and Russia’s longest running soap to date Wedding Ring.

On the entertainment side, TeleAlliance has enjoyed huge success with its courtroom show Federal Judge, soon to reach 1000 delivered episodes, and its infotainment programme Galileo on CTC. Most of the series and shows are shot in TeleAlliance’s own studio complex TeleCity, one of the largest of its kind in Russia, where three to four episodes of each series and show are produced every day.

TeleAlliance comprises three individual brands which specialise in different genres; Teleformat (founded in 2003) specialising in unscripted programming, Teleroman (founded in 2006) which develops scripted shows and DocuDrama (drama).
