Founded by Managing Director Rob Pursey in 2001 and acquired by Zodiak Media in 2005, Touchpaper Television is an independent drama production company. The companies key programmes include Being Human for BBC Three; Single Handed for RTE/ITV1; Murderland for ITV1; the BAFTA-nominated The Queen's Sister for Channel 4; the Robson Green series Rocket Man for BBC1; The Best Man for ITV1; and NY-LON for Channel 4. Touchpaper also has operations in Cardiff.
The company has celebrated success after winning the Broadcast Award for Best Programme 2010 & Best Programme Launch 2009 for Being Human. The same show was also nominated for a BAFTA in 2010.
