Kanakna introduced docusoap / Reality TV in Flanders with Het Leven Zoals Het Is in the late nineties.

From 2000 on it introduced reality with formats like Expeditie Robinson and Tempation Island. Kanakna is also active in quiz and fiction and is now a trusted producer for all the major Flemish & Walloon networks.
