Since being founded in 2000 Zodiak Finland is widely considered to be one of the leading independent television production companies in Finland.

The company specialises in creating and producing long-running, award-winning television series, for all six national TV channels in Finland, focusing mainly on non-fiction entertainment; game-shows, talk shows, light entertainment, cooking, reality-tv, sitcom and dating programmes.

Zodiak Finland has also successfully adapted a variety of well known international formats to Finnish markets, including Expedition Robinson, Have I Got News For You, Finland’s Ugliest, Saturday Night Takeaway and Strictly Come Dancing.

Additionally, the company has a long tradition of producing TV drama (it’s one of the biggest drama producers in the country) and in recent years, has produced big hits like Cuckoos Nest (105x45’), Frozen Hearts (28x42), Brothers (4x45’) and Look of a Killer (8x42).

With at least one hit every season, the company is committed to finding and nurturing young up-and-coming talent. Several shows have been short-listed in The Golden Rose Festival and the company has also won the prize for "Best Finnish Format of the Year" five times for Far Out (2001), Guillotine (2002), Like Mother Like Daughter (2007), Born to be Wild (2008) and Stars on Stage (2011).
