Mastiff Sweden is one of Sweden's largest production companies and has its origin in MTV Production and Mastiff (former Wegelius Television) which were both founded in the early 1990s. The two companies merged in 2003 to became the first production company to exist under the Zodiak Television umbrella, prior to Zodiak Television’s becoming part of Zodiak Media in 2010.

The company is well respected for developing and producing its own ambitious, large-scale entertainment shows as well as producing international and third party formats.  Mastiff develops and produces original and distinctive formats for all the major Scandinavian broadcasters, some of which have become the most successful Scandinavian exports ever.

The Mastiff brand is also represented in Denmark, Norway, Poland, Russia and most recently, Hungary.
