FORT BOYARD // Adventure Line Productions
Adventure Line Productions (ALP) was established by its creator, Denis Mermet, in 1972 and has grown substantially to become one of France’s leading independent production companies. Famous for producing iconic adventure game shows such as the legendary Fort Boyard and Treasure Hunt, ALP is recognised globally for its creativity and production expertise.
Managed by Franck Firmin-Guion, the company continues to specialise in the development, adaptation and production of light entertainment and adventure game show formats today. As well as home-grown hits, ALP also adapts and produces successful foreign formats such as Koh-Lanta (Survivor) and La Belle Toute Neu (How to Look Good Naked). The company has also co-produced several critically acclaimed drama series for both daytime and primetime audiences.
ALP produces content for all French terrestrial broadcasters, including DTT, cable and satellite channels.
Notably, the company has been producing the French version of Fort Boyard for over 20 years and offers a Line Production facility to over 40 countries, all of whom have produced their own version of the epic adventure game show on the historic Napoleonic fort.
